I have only great memories of working for C3 architects, especially on this project. I joined the team during the construction phase, and ultimately handled all photography once the project was completed. We designed the house for a young couple to escape from the city and the budget was 3.5 M pesos.
The firm needed photos of the project to submit for a contest deadline and originally wanted to hire a famous photographer. He wasn't available at such short notice, and I ended up taking all of the photos (pictured on this page) for the competition. We won second place in the Jalisco Biennale of Architecture and an honorific mention because our team was very young. This project represented contemporary regional architecture in Mexico while using local materials. This is one of my favorite projects in Mexico.

Location: San Juan Cosalá, Jalisco
